Opening ceremony of the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics, which is officially known as the II Winter Youth Olympic Games, was held Friday in Lillehammer, Norway,
Skier Mikayel Mikayelyan was Armenia’s flagbearer at the opening ceremony.
The country has two representatives in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics.
Mikayelyan will hit the slopes on February 13, 16, and 18 while figure skater Anastasia Galustyan will enter the ice rink on February 14 and 16.
