Manchester United (England) are preparing to trigger Brazil national football squad and FC Barcelona (Spain) forward Neymar’s £140 million release clause, the Daily Star reported.
The English club’s management will attempt to finish the transfer negotiations with the Brazilian star, prior to the extension of his contract with the Catalan giants.
Barça are prepared to triple his salary to up to €30 million a year.
Neymar’s father, however, had not ruled out the possibility that his son would leave Spain because its tax laws create problems.
