The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships 2015 kicked off Saturday in Beijing, the capital city of China, with the marathon.
A total of 47 titles will be up for grabs in the World Championships.
Representatives from 207 countries will compete at the event.
Armenia has one representative, as Amalya Sharoyan will take part in the Women’s 400m run.
The IAAF World Championships 2015 will end on August 30.
