Sochi 2014: Double Olympic champion loses $8,320 in poker

Norwegian cross country skier Petter Northug, who is competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics that are held in Sochi, Russia, loves to play poker very much.   

In Sochi, however, the double  Olympic champion lost $8,320 while playing online poker, HighStakes Database reports. 

Northug has been playing poker since the first day of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games. He lost about $20,000 on February 12, but won $12,500 four days later.

But in an interview with reporters, the Norwegian athlete neither denied nor confirmed the information on his playing poker during the current Winter Olympics.
