Mkhitaryan is Player of the Week – Bundesliga

As a result of an online survey conducted by the official website of the Bundesliga, Armenia national football squad and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was recognized Player of the Week in the current season of the top German football league.   

Mkhitaryan started for Dortmund and he played the entire match during BVB’s Bundesliga game against SV Werder Bremen on February 8. In addition, the 25-year-old midfielder scored two goals, and Dortmund won the game by a score of 5-1. As a result, the Armenia international put an end to his 1,066-minute scoreless series in the Bundesliga, and increased his goal tally in the current season of the German league to five.
