Italian football legend Filippo Inzaghi, who currently manages the youth team of AC Milan (Italy), will head the first team of the club, Sky Sport Italia reports.
Milan owner and Honorary President—and former Italian PM—Silvio Berlusconi on Monday will have to give the final approval to sack current first team manager Massimiliano Allegri and proceed with hiring Inzaghi. Milan’s Italian Serie A loss against U.S. Sassuolo Calcio did not sit well.
At present, Milan are eleventh in the current season of Serie A. Allegri had earlier stated that the current season will be his last one as AC Milan coach.
