Argentina international football squad and FC Barcelona (Spain) striker Lionel Messi resumed training in Argentina.
Messi’s post-injury clinical recovery phase ended on Friday, and the player started the physical exercises, Marca reports.
The Argentine international is under the supervision of the Argentine Football Association specialists.
Barcelona Director of Football Andoni Zubizarreta and team doctor Ricard Pruna also have traveled to Argentina.
The footballer is expected to return to Barça after the New Year’s holiday.
Lionel Messi had sustained a muscle injury to his left leg during Barcelona’s match against Sevilla FC on November 10.
