Following his club’s Serie A match against S.S.C. Napoli, Italian national football team and A.C. Milan striker Mario Balotelli threatened to kill game referee Luca Banti.
Sky Sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri tweeted the abovementioned on his Twitter page.
“I kill you! You will pay for this!” said Balotelli, whose words were recorded in the referee’s official report.
To note, as a result of this incident, the 23-year-old player was handed down a three-match suspension.
