Mr. Kumykov, congratulations on your victory. Could you imagine that Shakhtyor will be able to get to the playoffs and beat Celtic in the first game?

Thank you for your congratulations. We can only assume and hope. We really wanted to please the Kazakh fans. Maybe, our victory is a result of this great desire.

What is your formula for success?

In an interview with one of the Armenian sports publications (NEWS.am Sport - Ed.) Gevorg Ghazaryan said the success of Shakhter is the discipline and team game. All the players performed their tasks.

How do you assess the chances before the second game?

I think Celtic has more chances in the next game. They are a more experienced team. Celtic is a high class club, but in football anything is possible.

Is it true that before the game Shakhter sacrificed a sheep? The information appears to have been refuted.

I prefer to call it respect fpr team traditions. I think we do not have to talk about the details.

Traditions are observed only at home or in the second match, too? Is it possible in Scotland?

We honor our traditions everywhere. Perhaps in Scotland, too.

What do you think about the game of Gevorg Ghazaryan?

We are very pleased with his game. He was very good yesterday. There were some doubts, because he was absent for a long time. Overall, we are satisfied with his game.
