Argentinean-Armenian tennis star David Nalbandian underwent a shoulder and thigh surgery.
The over-six-hour operation was carried out in Barcelona, Ole reports.
Nalbandian, 31, is expected to return to the courts in September and, as part of the Argentine national team, he will compete in the Davis Cup semifinals against the Czech Republic.
To note, David Nalbandian is currently 129th in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
