Solely one fan cheers for Udinese in match against Sampdoria (PHOTOS)

Solely Arrigo Brovedani cheered for Udinese from the stadium during the Italian club’s Serie A away game against Sampdoria.    

And following the match, Udinese invited Brovedani to the club’s next game.  

“When I was going to the stadium, I was thinking Udinese would have five or six fans. But there was no one there. When I entered the stands, the Sampdoria fans whistled at me, but that did not obstruct me from cheering for my favorite team,” La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Brovedani as saying.   

Arrigo Brovedani lives in Friuli and is a wine merchant.     

To note, Udinese defeated Sampdoria by a score of 2-0.
