French striker Moussa Diaby scored a brace for Al-Ittihad—in the 25th and 47th minutes.
The former captain of the Armenian national football team, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among Inter's substitutes, but he subbed in for Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in the 63rd minute.
