The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to postpone the Europa League group match scheduled between Israel’s Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C. and Spain’s Athletic Bilbao, Football España reports.
Representatives of the Basque club were conducting talks with UEFA to call off the game due to security concerns, since the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has escalated.
UEFA had rejected the Spanish club’s first petition to this end, but it changed its decision after Wednesday’s bus explosion in Tel Aviv.
It is not yet known when the match will be played.
