Al-Nassr's (Saudi Arabia) 39-year-old Portuguese star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player in history to become the top scorer of the season in four different national football leagues.
In the Saudi Pro League season that just concluded, Ronaldo netted 35 goals, becoming the record holder of this league for the most number of goals scored in one season.
Also, Ronaldo was the top scorer of the Spanish La Liga for three seasons—with Real Madrid, the top scorer of the Italian Serie A—with Juventus, and the top scorer of the English Premier League—with Manchester United.
Ronaldo has netted 46 goals and made 13 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions in the club season that just wrapped up.
