Bologna to play in Champions League for first time in club history

Bologna will play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, the Italian Serie A informs on X—formerly Twitter.

Two rounds before the end of the current Serie A season, Bologna have secured a place in the top five.

Next season, Italy will have five participants in the Champions League group stage.

In the 36th round of Serie A, Bologna beat Napoli 2-0 and are third, with 67 points, in the current standings. Juventus, in fourth place, also have the same number of points.

 Roma lost 1-2 to Atalanta, and are sixth, with 60 points. Atalanta (35 games) are fifth, with 63 points.
