CL: Lewandowski beats Messi's record

Thanks to the goal of Italian champion Napoli in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, Spanish champion Barcelona, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski surpassed the age record of Argentine striker Lionel Messi in the Catalan club.

Lewandowski became the best player in Barcelona history to score a goal in the Champions League play-offs. Lewandowski stood out at the age of 35 years and 184 days.

Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) scored a goal for Barcelona in the 2021 Champions League play-offs in the return match of the 1/8 final against PSG (1:1) at the age of 33 years and 269 days.

The match between Napoli and Barcelona ended with a score of 1:1.
