At the European Wrestling Championships, held in the Romanian capital Bucharest, Armenian national team newcomer Manvel Khachatryan (55 kg) lost in the semi-finals and will fight for the bronze medal.
In the semi-finals, the young wrestler fought with the representative of Moldova, Artem Dileanu, and in a bitter fight, lost to his opponent with a score of 2:2.
Khachatryan began his fight in the quarterfinals, where he fought with the current European champion, Turkish Adem Burak Uzun, and in a tense fight, achieved an impressive victory with a score of 13:5.
