European Championships: Malkhas Amoyan is also in the semifinals

Armenia's second representative has reached the semifinals of the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, which is being held in the Romanian capital Bucharest.

Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg), world champion, two-time European champion, qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris, defeated Russia's Adlet Tylubayev, competing under the flag of independent countries, 3:2 in the quarterfinals.

In the first 1/8 finals, Malkhas Amoyan scored an impressive 10:1 victory over Italy's Ricardo Vito Abrescia.

In the semifinals Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg) will meet Moldavian Alexandrin Gutsu.

Manvel Khachatryan (55 kg) also reached the semifinals from the Armenian national team.
