Arman Andreasyan reached the semifinals of World Wrestling Championships 

European vice-champion Arman Andreasyan reached the semifinals with an impressive victory at the World Wrestling Championships, which started in the Serbian capital Belgrade.

In the quarterfinals of the 70 kg category the representative of Armenia fought with the bronze medalist of the Asian Championship, bronze medalist of the Youth World Championship, representative of Japan Yoshinosuki Aoyagi and won with the score 5:2 in a hard fight.

Arman Andreasyan competes in the non-Olympic weight class.

Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg), Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg), Hrayr Alikhanyan (74 kg), Arman Avagyan (79 kg) and Sergey Sargsyan (97 kg) will also take part in the Armenian national team under the leadership of Abetnak Kurginyan.

Olympic freestyle wrestling weight classes: 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, 97 kg and 125 kg.
