Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has recovered from a thigh muscle injury and expressed hope that he will be able to play in his team’s UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City.
"I feel good, I am doing everything possible to be ready for the final. I hope I will be able to help the team. I don't have the Champions League trophy and I want to win it.
"Manchester City are one of the best teams in the world. They have a great team, excellent midfielders, but our midfielders are also strong, they know how to steal the ball and initiate attacks.
"You don't play in the final of the Champions League every day, we know that a difficult battle is ahead. We are ready for that challenge, and will strive for victory," said Mkhitaryan, the former captain of the Armenian national football squad.
The Man City vs. Inter match of the Champions League final will be played on Saturday in Istanbul, Turkey, and will start at 11pm Armenia time.
