Barcelona manager Xavi hopes that reigning World Cup champions Argentina's 35-year-old star forward and captain Lionel Messi will return to Barca from PSG in the summer.
"I told the president of the [Barcelona] club that Messi's return makes sense. There is no doubt that he perfectly fits our system and ideas. Leo and I have developed a tactical plan. Everything depends only on Messi. He has to make a decision. I talk with Leo on a regular basis," Xavi said, Sport.es reported.
Messi's current contract with PSG will end in June, and he will become a free agent.
