Euro 2024 qualifiers: Portugal win 6-0, Ronaldo scores 2 goals, match results of the day (VIDEO)

The matches in the second round of the nations in Groups C, H, and J have ended at the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

In Group C, reigning champions Italy were hosted by Malta and won 2-0 (video). Italy are second, with 3 points, in the current standings in this group, and are 3 points behind current leaders England, to whom they had lost 1-2 in the first round.

In Group H, Finland beat Northern Ireland 1-0 at their opponents' pitch. In this group, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Finland, and Northern Ireland have 3 points each. The current leaders are Slovenia, who have won two games.

In Group J, Portugal crushed Luxembourg 6-0 (video) in their away game. Cristiano Ronaldo, the 38-year-old star striker of Al Nassr, scored two goals. Portugal lead the current standings in this group, with two wins. Slovakia, which beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the second round, are second, with 4 points.
