Tottenham Hotspur's star striker Harry Kane has become the top scorer of the English national football team in history.
The goal scored by Kane, 29, in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament match (2-1) against Italy was his 54th for the English national squad.
He surpassed the respective record of retired England player Wayne Rooney, who had netted 53 goals for his country.
