Former Armenian chess team member Levon Aronian (USA) won the WR Chess Masters tournament in Dusseldorf, securing the tie-break victory.
Aronian defeated Indian representative in three games and was stronger than Russian Yang Nepomnyashchy in two games.
The prize fund of the WR Chess Masters was 130,000 euros. Levon Aronian will receive 40 thousand euros.
