Artur Soghomonyan: Pyunik do not consider the 2022 Super Bowl as a significant achievement

The Football Federation of Armenia has officially announced that the Super Cup after Hakob Tonoyan goes to the football club Pyunik.

The FFA refers to the clause in the competition regulations, which says that if one or two teams participating in the Super Cup refuse to participate, the organization has the right to make a special decision.

The owner of Pyunik Artur Soghomonyan commented on the decision of the Federation:

"I would like to note that this decision has not been discussed with our club in any way, we, just like everyone else, received the information from the media. We are very sorry that Noravank FC, the winner of Armenian Cup 2022, ceased to exist and we could not compete with them for the title. We are also upset that the Super Cup match will not take place. 

Pyunik Football Club don't view the 2022 Super Bowl as a significant achievement and doesn't plan to celebrate it," said Artur Soghomonyan.
