Newcastle extend contract of Kieran Trippier

Newcastle United have extended their cooperation with England national team defender Kieran Trippier, the press service of the club reports.

The new contract of the 32-year-old footballer will run until June 2025.

Trippier had moved from Atletico Madrid to Newcastle in January 2021.

Thanks to his impressive performance as well in the current English Premier League season, Newcastle have not lost in 15 games in a row and are third, with 39 points, after 20 games (10 wins, 9 draws, 1 loss).

In the current Premier League season, Trippier has scored one goal and made one assist in 20 appearances so far for Newcastle.
