AusOpen: Novak Djokovic reaches semifinals

Novak Djokovic, 21-time Grand Slam winner, world No. 5, reached the semifinals of the Australian Open.

The Serbian player competed against the 6th player of the world Andrey Rublev of Russia and won in three sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

In the semifinals, Novak Djokovic's opponent will be the 35th ranked player in the world, American Tommy Paul, who defeated the 89th ranked player in the world, American Ben Shelton.

The first pair of semifinals were Russian Karen Khachanov, ranked 20th, and Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, ranked fourth.

Semifinal clashes will be played on January 27.

The Australian Open has a prize fund of $51.3 million.
