Pele thanks Mbappe

Three-time world champion and legendary Brazilian soccer player Pele thanked French world champion forward Kylian Mbappe for his support.

"Thank you, Kylian Mbappe. I'm happy to see you breaking another one of my records in this Cup, my friend!," Pele, 82, wrote on his Twitter.

Mbappe scored 9 goals at the World Cups and became the youngest player in the history of the tournament to do so (23 years and 349 days). He broke Pele's record of 7 goals at World Cups under 24.
