Artur Davtyan claims world champion title (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Artur Davtyan, bronze medalist of Tokyo Olympic Games, European champion, vice-champion of Europe 2022, European Games champion, World Cup winner won gold medal at World Artistic Gymnastics Championship.

Davtyan scored 15.050 points and took first place. 

Artur Davtyan became the first world champion in gymnastics in the history of independent Armenia.

He scored 14,900 points in the qualifying round and advanced to the finals.

Artur Davtyan, Gymnastics

He was born on August 8, 1992, in Yerevan. Marries, has a daughter.

His personal coach is Hakob Serobyan, head coach of Armenian national gymnastics team.

He participated in the Olympic Games in London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
