The third day of the Julius Baer Generation Cup online tournament consisted of rounds 9-12.
Former Armenian national team leader Levon Aronian (USA) lost to Le Quang Liem (Vietnam), David Navara (Czech Republic) and Hans Niemann (USA), and defeated Anish Giri (Netherlands). Aronian, with 14 points, was in 13th place.
World Champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway is the sole winner, with 25 points out of a possible 36.
The prize fund of the Julius Baer Generation Cup is $150,000.
