World champion Magnus Carlsen and former Armenian national team leader Levon Aronian (USA) will take part in the Julius Baer Generation Cup online tournament, which will be held from September 18 to 25.
The preliminary round will feature 16 players playing 15 rounds. The eight strongest will continue in the quarterfinals.
The prize fund of Julius Baer Generation Cup is 150 thousand dollars.
