The US Open tennis tournament ended with the victory of 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz (Spain).
In the men's singles final, the world No. 4 competed with world No. 7 Casper Ruud (Norway) and won in four sets. The match lasted 3 hours and 23 minutes.
Alcaraz won a Grand Slam tournament for the first time and will receive $2.6 million in prize money plus 2,000 ranking points.
Also, Alcaraz will top the men’s world rankings, becoming the youngest world No. 1 in men’s tennis in history.
