The Sinquefield Cup—the last stage of the Grand Chess Tour—held in Saint Louis, USA, ended with the victory of 19-year-old Grandmaster Alireza Firouzja (France).
Firouzja won the first place, with 5 points out of 8 possible.
Levon Aronian, the former leader of the Armenian men’s national chess team who now represents the USA, finished seventh, with 3.5 points.
Also, Firouzja won the Grand Chess Tour title and $100 thousand.
