The European Athletics Championships started in Munich. Armenian representatives Levon Aghasyan and Yervand Mkrtchyan could not overcome the qualification threshold.
The leading Armenian athlete took 14th place with a result of 16.03 meters.
Yervand Mkrtchyan showed the result of 3.43 minutes in the 1,500m race and took 22nd place.
Levon Aghasyan will miss the July 15-24 world championships in Athletics due to an injury.
