The son of Argentine Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone will continue his career at Italian side Napoli, according to twitter.com/FabrizioRomano. Giovanni Simeone will move from Verona to the Napoli club and will play on loan. Napoli will pay 3.5 million euros for one season.
Next summer, Napoli will have the opportunity to buy the transfer rights of the 27-year-old forward for 12 million euros.
Giovanni Simeone scored 17 goals in the last Italian championship and shared fourth place in the scoring race with English forward Tammy Abraham of Roma.
