Gianni Infantino: Armenia is a fantastic country

The game turned out well. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who arrived in Armenia on Wednesday, told this to reporters after the exhibition game of several football legends—in Tsovagyugh village in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia.

"Armenia is a fantastic country. The view opening from this new stadium is even more beautiful. I would like to emphasize the fact that the stadium is located in this area, which is close to the [Tsovagyugh village] school. This means that children will often come and play here. It is a great pleasure for us as well to see these children running with the ball in this newly built stadium," Infantino added.

As part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Football Federation of Armenia, the teams of world and Armenian football legends played an exhibition match Wednesday in Tsovagyugh, and the game ended in an 8-8 tie.
