Yekaterina Sycheva, a newcomer to the women's national boxing team of Armenia, has started the World Championships in Istanbul with a victory.
Yekaterina Sycheva, who competes in the 54 kg weight category, faced Ukraine's Svetlana Umanskaya and celebrated a confident win, the press service of BFA reported.
Earlier Anush Grigoryan and Ani Hovsepyan won.
