The Russian Chess Federation announced the early termination of the Children's Chess Championship in Loo (Krasnodar) due to the tragic death of one of the participants.
It turned out that 12-year-old Polina Kunikova went for a walk with her mother and somewhere through the fence she saw puppies, climbed over to feed them and a shepherd dog jumped on her, causing injuries incompatible with life, TASS reported.
