Karen Khachanov (Russia) has reached the semifinals of the Serbia Open in the capital Belgrade.
The Muscovite Armenian tennis player beat Thiago Monteiro (Brazil) in two sets in the quarterfinals. The match lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Khachanov's opponent in the semifinals will be world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who defeated fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in their quarterfinal clash.
