Russian tournaments with the participation of foreigners will be equated to the status of world and European championships, Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin said at a meeting with members of the commission of athletes of the Russian Olympic Committee, reports the official website of the Russian Olympic Committee.

Russian Ministry of Sports together with all-Russian sports federations are working on an updated single calendar of sports events, given the fact that Russian athletes were suspended from international tournaments.
