Beijing 2022:  Finnish, Swiss and Japanese titles (PHOTOS)

Finland's Iivo Niskanen won the 15 km freestyle race at the 24th Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The 30-year-old skier became a three-time Olympic champion. In 2014, he won the gold medal in the team sprint, and in 2018, he won the gold medal in the 50-kilometer cross-country skiing race.

Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland won the title of Olympic champion in the women's giant slalom in alpine skiing.

Hirano Ayumo from Japan, who skateboarded at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo six months ago, won the men's snowboarding title.

The leader in the overall medal standings is Germany with 6 gold and 3 silver medals.
