Aston Villa sign new contract with Emiliano Martinez

Aston Villa extended the contract with Emiliano Martinez, the club's press service reported.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper of the Argentine national team has a new contract until June 2027.

Martinez has been at the club since 2020 when he joined the club for 17.4 million euros from Arsenal. He became the main goalkeeper of Aston Villa and  kept a club record 15 clean sheets in the Premier League last season.

Martinez also became the main goalkeeper of the Argentine team, winning the America's Cup last year.
