French chess player Maxime Vachier-Lagrave ended the FIDE World Blitz Championship in Warsaw with a victory.
During the tie-break, Lagrave competed with Jan-Krzysztof Duda and was at an advantage during 3 matches. He tied the first two matches, and won the third match in the 49th step with white figures.
After 21 matches, Lagrave, Duda and Firouzja each scored 15 points. After a count of the additional indicators, Firouzja remained in third place.
Daniil Dubov won fourth place with 14.5 points, and Levon Aronian (USA) is in 5th place.
Hayk M. Martirosyan had the best result out of Armenia’s representatives and shared 8th-18th places with 13.5 points.
