Armenia’s representative Robert Hovhannisyan competed with his Azerbaijani opponent Shakhriyar Mamedyarov with white figures and won in the 69th step in the 6th round of the FIDE World Rapid Championship in Warsaw.
Hovhannisyan shares the 9th-18th places with 4.5 points. Sergey Movsesyan also has 4.5 points, while the other representatives of Armenia have fewer points.
Another four rounds will be held today.
