Napoli unveil Maradona statue

Napoli have ceremoniously unveiled the statue of the club and Argentina’s legendary footballer Diego Maradona.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino and 2006 World Cup champions Italy player Fabio Cannavaro, as well as 40,000 spectators, attended the unveiling ceremony that took place before the start of Napoli’s Italian Serie A match against Lazio at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples, Italy.

Maradona had died on November 25, 2020, at the age of 60.
