The Newcastle United management is considering former Shakhtar Donetsk and Roma boss Paulo Fonseca among the main candidates for their new manager, Sky Sports reported.
Fonseca does not have a coaching job yet after leaving Roma in the summer.
Newcastle plan to sack their current head coach Steve Bruce, and they are considering several other managers to this post.
They are currently the penultimate, with just 3 points, after eight rounds of the English Premier League.
To note, the Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund has bought Newcastle United for €300 million, and it plans to spend €200 million during the next two transfer windows to strengthen the club.
