Al Sadd manager Xavi Hernandez is in no hurry to accept the offer to take helm at Barcelona.
According to Marca, the Barca management is considering the 41-year-old football coach as a replacement for their current manager Ronald Koeman.
Xavi's current contract with Al Sadd runs until the summer of 2023, but there are other “obstacles,” too.
He is not happy about how the Barcelona management treats Koeman, and he will agree to start negotiations with them only when there is a final decision to part ways with the Dutch coach.
Another “obstacle” is Xavi's family, who have adapted to the life in Qatar and are not ready to return to Spain at the moment.
There is a clause in the contract of the legendary midfielder of Barcelona and Spain, and this clause allows him to terminate the contract in case of receiving an offer from Barca.
