Roma’s Italian midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini set a unique record after scoring a double during the match against BKMA in the first round of the group stage of the Europa Conference League.
Pellegrini has become the first footballer in history to score goals in the group stages of the Champions League, the Europa League and the Europa Conference League, the football club’s press service reports.
Italian presses report that the 25-year-old footballer plans to extend his contract with Roma soon.
During the match against BKMA, midfielder for the Armenia national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among the replacements of Roma, but didn’t come out to the field. During the other match of Group C, Norway’s Bude-Glimt defeated the Ukrainian Zarya 3-1 at home.
