The European Individual Chess Championship 2021 will kick off Thursday in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.
Armenia will have five representatives: Grandmasters (GMs) Gabriel Sargissian, Hovhannes Gabuzyan, Haik M. Martirosyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, and Robert Hovhannisyan.
A total of 180 chess players from 36 countries, including 69 GMs, will compete in this tournament.
The first round will be held Thursday and will start at 7pm Armenia time.
