Leicester City’s manager Brendan Rogers has announced that 34-year-old Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is the team’s new captain, BBC Sport reports. North Ireland's Jonny Evans, 33, has been appointed deputy captain.
Leicester City’s previous captain was 37-year-old Jamaican Wes Morgan, who ended his career in May after having played for the team since 2012.
